"Sharing the Wealth" Award
This award honors and perpetuates the values, innovation, and generosity that Kathie Dannemiller embodied in her work and life. Therefore, this award honors individuals whose achievements have exhibited the following qualities:
- Generosity – Sharing the wealth (their time, theories and methods) with the abiding faith that those that receive will do the same thus creating an ongoing, positive force for change.
- Giving Voice – Passionately believing and working towards valuing and giving voice to everyone in the organization or community.
- Calling into Greatness – Seeing each person for who they could be and who they yearn to be beyond who they are in the moment.
- Connecting at the Head and Heart – Creating and using ways for organizations and communities to connect and operate as “one brain and one heart.”
- Building on the pioneers of our field to create new approaches that enable organization and communities to engage all their members in decisions that affect them.
The recipient of this award does not have to be a member of the OD Network and does not need to reside or work in the United States.
