The Boardroom Table and "Patient-Centered Care": What's the Connection?

The US spends twice the average amount/person for healthcare of any country in the world. Yet, it does not provide the very best—across the board— quality of care in the world. We will begin this Webinar by providing a compelling snapshot of the hard empirical data to support a simple premise: the roots of the quality of 'patient-centered care' delivered in the treatments rooms of any/every healthcare organization are sitting around the boardroom table. We will then explore a sample of tools that are a part of a new and unique "Behavioral Operating System" [B-OS]. Using the results of real-world cases, we will share/discuss how healthcare organizations are striving to embrace the fact that the 'connection between the culture around the boardroom table and the quality of 'patient-centered care' is direct. The failure to embrace and act upon this direct connection leaves a healthcare organization at risk of being accountable for "managerial malpractice" in the care of patients.
