Opening & Closing Receptions
Sunday evening’s “Welcome to the San Francisco Bay” reception offers a warm welcome along with light fare and background mood music. Come to network with other attendees and kick off your Conference 2006.
By Tuesday night, you’ll have so many friends you’ll want to close out Conference 2006 by dancing the night away. At the "Creating the Future" closing party, you’ll get a glimpse of visions of the future and have the opportunity to play and create with colleagues. We’ll provide the DJ and a buffet table; you bring the fun!
Tickets to these two receptions, with cash bar, are included with your full conference registration. You can purchase guest tickets for $45 for Sunday evening and $55 for Tuesday night.
OD Network Award Breakfast

- Sharing the Wealth: Carolyn Lukensmeyer & America Speaks, Geoff Bellman
Pre-registration and a $15 fee is required to attend the breakfast; seating is limited, so be sure to include the breakfast with your registration.
Fireside Chat with OD Network Award Recipients
Monday afternoon is your opportunity to engage in a stimulating conversation with the 2006 OD Network Award winners and others. Honor their special contributions to the advancement and practice of organization development in this inspiring ”fireside” session. Learn from and congratulate these exceptional OD individuals and organizations who have mastered, despite obstacles, the mystery of being “eternally present” in the OD landscape.
Monday Lunchtime Roundtable Discussions
Dine at tables of like-minded colleagues who face the same issues and challenges you do—and discover solutions and action plans you can implement when you get home!
The Roundtable Discussions provide an opportunity for self-organized sessions about topics that aren’t covered in the regular program. Conference attendees volunteer on-site as table facilitators. Perhaps you’ll share a model or technique, talk about experiences with specific organizational problems, explore strategies for working in a particular sector, brainstorm about how to apply new ideas back home, or pursue a burning question or issue with colleagues. Whether you opt to join a roundtable on a focused topic or create an ad hoc group, this is an opportunity to meet new people and make connections to enhance your conference experience.
Community Space
Community Space provides a gathering place for conversation, connections, and discussion. You’ll find a message board for linking up with other attendees and a place to leave literature you’d like to share with others. Down the hall and around the corner, you’ll find a quiet and comfortable space where you can read, chat, reflect, and re-charge!
