Message from the OD Network Board of Trustees
OD Pomp and Circumstance
Hello friends,
MarisaWe can hear the music now as new graduates at college campuses everywhere celebrate their academic accomplishments. OD Network particularly wants to congratulate those graduates of ourmember OD Education Association (ODEA) schools.

Seven graduate programs are officially members of ODEA, with another 35 affiliates. With leadership from board trustee Matt Minahan, OD Network founded the OD Education Association with the intent to establish, advance, and promote the body of knowledge required in OD education, via peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, collaboration on research, and certification of academic programs. The students, program directors, and up to five faculty members of each school automatically become members of the OD Network - 500 ODEA members as of today. ODEA's first major accomplishment was the establishment of theEssential Elements of ODcurricula in 2010.

OD Network Regional News
Regional Networks Invited to Participate in 50th Anniversary
A central part of our celebration of ODN's 50th Anniversary at the 2014 Annual Conference in Philadelphia will be the co-creation of an OD Timeline that will reflect the experience, observations and learnings we have all had as we've worked in the OD field over the past 50 years. The purpose of the timeline is to look at the past and present in OD to propel us forward.

The Conference Planners want to invite regional organizations from across the country to participate in creating the timeline through an inter-generational, interactive exercise that is being tested by the Philadelphia Region ODN on June 18. Following that "test run", detailed information about the exercise will be communicated online and by your Regional Connectors.

In the meantime, please be thinking of times when your regional members can come together to engage in a highly interactive exercise that produces movement and momentum as we dialogue across generational time periodsabout our entry, observations, experiences and reflections of OD!
