Generative
Leadership
Generative
Leadership is a unique and effective approach to leadership development.
This work has shown that creating organizations that are able to grow and
flourish in the current economy requires more than additional knowledge
(content) or new ways for working together (process). It also requires
the inclusion of a third domain, context. Context is the meaning, purpose,
vision or future that shapes peoples’ actions and thereby determines the
limits of the results. Leaders can use generative leadership to generate
new futures and articulate them in ways that alter peoples’ actions, and
consequently, their results. The outcome: strategic thinking and business
results that did not seem possible based on past results.
Brian
Flegg, Senior Consultant with the Generative Leadership Group, will lead
the discussion on the 24th. Brian will speak about some of the key
principles, tools, and practices used in GLG’s client engagements, including
results that have been produced with key clients. The discussion promises
to be thought provoking, informative and interactive.
Join
us on the 24th to hear first-hand about this cutting-edge leadership initiative
which is already making a big impact on major Chicago companies. |
