| The
human resource and organization development professions have experienced
significant changes over the last five years. These functions now
are held to a greater level of accountability in using the corporation's
financial resources and the cost of interventions intended to improve performance.
Determining ROI on HR/OD programs/interventions is frequently required
and this expectation is growing.
This
interactive and informative 90-minute workshop is designed for HR &OD
professionals who need to take a more strategic approach to their jobs
in order to improve their credibility as business partners through the
application of basic metrics and measurement methods. During this
workshop, participants will examine key metrics and measurement methodologies
that individuals can apply to the work setting.
Attendees
will:
-
Site compelling
reasons for the need to take greater financial accountability for their
roles and daily actions.
-
Hear about
ways to become a more strategic business partner capable of contributing
to the bottom line and able to speak the language of business – i.e., financial.
-
Apply
basic metrics to aspects of the HR/OD role.
-
Cite possible
applications of metrics and measurement to the HR/OD role
-
Review
the metrics associated with certain costs of business behaviors to an organization
(turnover, low productivity, absenteeism, time to hire, etc), the cost
of appropriate interventions, and the resulting ROI.
-
Identify
needed resources to utilize as follow up on particular areas of interest
related to metrics, measurement, strategic collaboration, and ROI.
