Using Emotional Intelligence
to Get Business Results
As an OD professional you
know that having good Emotional
Intelligence skills is important
for the executives and leaders with whom you work. In this advanced
session, learn how you can use the Service-Profit (Value) Chain as a tool
in explaining the importance and impact of developing Emotional Competence
in language your clients can understand. Find out how to explain
the importance of emotions to change effectiveness, leadership, conflict
resolution, teamwork, performance, and more. Examine a variety of
measured results that can help you make the case ("sell the soft stuff")
for development of these critical abilities for individuals and teams in
your organization. Based on our 9 years of teaching applied Emotional
Intelligence skills with different types of organizations we'll tell you
what works and what doesn't. Receive a checklist that will enable
you to identify EI programs in the marketplace that will actually produce
business results from those that won't
