As members of the OD community, we share the belief we are strongly connected with each other and that we should do everything we can to help make each others' lives better.  Our focus is on organizations, primarily the companies we spend our days in.   Our OD values lead us to find ways to improve the time we spend at work.

Championing OD values is a complex dance between partners to find common ground.  The ODNC Impact Awards program honors those who have danced well.  Impact Awards winners have measurably improved the quality of work at their organizations.  More importantly, all candidates for the Impact Awards have measurably improved the quality of work at their organizations.  The Impact Awards ceremony celebrates those achievements and encourages us all.

On the evening of October 26, we will meet to hear Impact Award winner Kathy Orms of the Loyola University Medical Center describe what was done to improve organizational effectiveness as well as the quality of work life.  She will answer questions and offer practical suggestions on applying for the Award as well as dealing with challenges typically encountered when seeking to help make things better. 

Please come if you are interested in learning what successful practitioners have done to improve the quality of work in their organizations.  Especially come if you have recently concluded a successful effort in your own organization so you can learn about the application process and inspire the rest of us!

The meeting will be held at the Loyola Medical Center in the Mulcahy building.  Informal networking will be held between 6:00 and 6:30 PM.  The actual meeting will begin at 6:30 PM.  We expect to be finished at 8:00 PM.  The Loyola Medical Center is located at 2160 S.
