Manager, Employee Onboarding & Orientation
General Growth Properties is a publicly traded Real Estate
Investment Trust ("REIT") and is listed on the New

well as theaters, sit-down restaurants, ice skating rinks

This position has overall responsibility for providing frameworks,
tools, and training that ensures all GGP employees experience
a smooth and effective entry process, allowing new talent
to be productive and successful as quickly as possible. This
position will be responsible for creating, managing, and facilitating
a structured and measurable onboarding program with the following
position expectations:

Apply performance and organizational consulting skills to
determine appropriate learning strategies to quickly integrate
new employees, helping to drive employee productivity.

Serve
as a single point of integration for all onboarding activities,
linking Human Capital processes and services with Information
Technology, Corporate Services and Hiring Manager responsibilities.
Structure the Day 1 Experience, including development of
supporting resources.

Manage
website for ongoing communication and direction to tools.
-
Implement
follow-up surveys and new hire tracking mechanisms.

Design,
develop and implement high-impact mentoring/partnership
program (GGP Partners) to facilitate the transfer of skills
and knowledge to new employees.

Design,
develop and implement revised versions of current orientation
training programs to improve the quality and effectiveness
this training.

Plan
and manage strategies for onboarding programs which complement
other development areas including leadership, functional
and systems training.

Customize
content and experiences, determine appropriate implementation
strategies and establish tracking measures to ensure that
all onboarding programs are effectively meeting the needs
of new employees, hiring managers and the organization.

Research
best practices, perform benchmarking analysis and evaluate
emerging trends to keep appraised of technological advancements
and opportunities for program improvement.

Communicate
project activities, progress, results and challenges to
facilitate continued program endorsement and alignment to
organizational objectives.

Deliver
effective classroom training by applying strong presentation
and facilitation skills, delivering feedback to learners,
developing action plans and measuring impact to the organization.

Develop
and manage project timelines and budgets.

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business
Administration, Psychology or other relevant behavioral
science.

6+
years HR or business experience. 2+ years OD experience.

Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills, including written
and verbal communications.

Ability
to use a process consultation model and a variety of OD
interventions to support business results.

Ability
to build trusting relationships and partner with manager
and above level leadership.

Strong
project management skills.
-
Lead
a complex, cross functional project with executive level
interface.
-
Ability
to handle confidential HR and leadership information.

Excellent
course facilitation and presentation skills.
-
Coaching
and/or 360 feedback experience.
-
Experience
implementing companywide performance, development and/or
employee engagement initiatives.
-
Experience
facilitating leadership development, change, communication
and culture change programs.
