to market through foodservice distribution partners as well
as through an extensive direct route delivery system, offering
Sara Lee products to restaurants, retail establishments, schools,
healthcare facilities, hospitality venues, warehouses and
other foodservice operators.
Enable the achievement of business outcomes by enhancing organizational
capabilities within the Foodservice segment. Assist in the
development and execution of organizational effectiveness
initiatives related to learning, performance management, process
improvement, leadership and employee development, selection
systems, succession planning and high performance teams. Partner
with HR colleagues and business leaders to improve performance
& effectiveness at an individual, team and organizational
level.
Essential Functions:

Responsible for the development and achievement of an overall
organizational learning and development strategy which supports
the segment’s business plan and aligns with the Sara
Lee Corporate strategy and Human Resources strategy, processes
and procedures. Develop, deploy and measure learning and
development plans and calendars of events. Develop and facilitate
learning and development interventions which many include
mentoring, action learning, study assistance, shadowing
and formal training programs. Plan, develop and implement
the requisite communication and marketing vehicles, key
messages and management tools for the learning and development
programs.

Coordinate
leadership development architecture to develop high potential
employees and to secure a pipeline of future company leaders.
Create and drive best practice individual development planning
processes. Leverage relationships and sources best in class
external leadership development content providers. In collaboration
with the OD Center of Excellence, drive management development
and leadership curriculum based on established core competencies
with linkages to career development and advancement.

Develop
and track metrics to evaluate learning and development effectiveness
as measured against key business goals. Assess learning
and development programs including evaluating instructor
performance, knowledge and skill improvement and performance
improvement to drive overall organizational impact.

Develop
and implement databases to track learning and development
data. Research and implement innovative learning delivery
approaches and establishes standards for implementation.

Conduct
learning and development needs analyses. Facilitate/instruct
learning experiences and training sessions. Develop and
manage program materials, logistics, multimedia visual aids
and other educational materials.

Assist
in the design and support the rollout of performance based
tools and processes such as position profiles, feedback
mechanisms and career roadmaps/paths.

Implement
and optimize Sara Lee’s performance management process,
methodologies and technology within segment.

BA/BS
in Business, Human Resources, Organization Development
-
Minimum
of 5 years experience in a learning and development function
with the ability to translate strategy into action;

Must
have training skills including instructional design, training
assessment and evaluation, training delivery and faciliation,
web-based/virtual training and knowledge of different learning
strategies;

Preferred
certifications include instructional/facilitator, leadership
and team development (i.e. Lominger, MBTI, PDI);

Previous
experience with managing high impact projects and initiatives;

Ability
to work in a matrixed organization with strong personal
initiative, business acumen, influencing and relationships
building skills, teamwork and ability to deal with ambiguity;

Excellent
communication and facilitation skills;

Ability
to interact with all levels of the organization;

Strength
in faciliation, assessment, coaching and consulting;

Strong
