Major Accountabilities

  • Directly supports EVP and/or President level executives and their direct reports.
  • Leads OD interventions for business segments.
  • Leads global, entreprise-wide organizational Development initiatives.
  • Focuses on large scale change implementation/leadership, culture transformation, employee engagement, team effectiveness, organizational design and integration (via mergers and acquisitions).
  • Applies appropriate Six Sigma methodologies to execute OD interventions.
  • Performs assessments and listens to clients to understand and anticipate their needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise.
  • Considers broad factors when reviewing gap analyses; establishes needs and priorities based on client and business objectives.
  • Collaborates with business partners and client group leaders to assess clients’ immediate and long-term needs based on company objectives.
  • Applies a deep awareness of external trends (i.e. business trends, regulatory issues, global implications) to anticipate clients’ needs and conceptualize new offerings.

  • Encourages informed risk-taking and acts as a catalyst for innovation at Cardinal Health; generates practical, sustainable and creative options to solve problems and create business opportunities, while maximizing existing resources.

  • Jointly develops practical implementation plans that consider cultural sensitivities with other accountable parties (e.g., business partners, transaction center).
