Development Specialist
Exelon is currently seeking a Management Development Specialist in our Oakbrook
office. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for implementation and ongoing maintenance of management development
programs and practices for specific business unit clients and/or sites.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Facilitate the business talent review,
succession planning and other talent management processes to support effective
talent selection, development and management.
- Facilitate the utilization
of a variety of leadership development tools, including leadership assessments
and leadership program attendance. Coach managers and employees in the
individual development planning process, and provide guidance to ensure
that activities are aligned with individuals’ development
needs.
- Provide analysis and recommendations of Employee Feedback Survey results
to business leaders, and facilitate results planning session to drive organizational
improvements.
- Participate on project teams to support the development and implementation
of enterprise-wide management and leadership development processes and programs.
- Work with client/site leaders to develop and implement programs and initiatives
that respond to business critical needs.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s
degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related field. Masters
degree or MBA preferred.
- 4-6 years experience in HR-related functions that include management/leadership
development.
- Ability to operate independently with general direction from
manager.
- Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency pushing self
and others for results; ability to deliver on results despite obstacles.
- Proven coaching and influence skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong orientation to fostering teamwork and collaboration.
