People of Color Caucus
People of Color and First Peoples are invited to attend a caucus meeting all day Saturday, October 5th on the topic "Continuing the Legacy”. The caucus will address the importance of the presence of People of Color and First People in the OD community. The history of the caucus will be a focus of the session with an emphasis on what should the caucus focus on going forward.
Men in OD Affinity Group
We welcome all men to this session. We typically open with a reading to set the tone and then invite the participants to talk about what’s uppermost on their minds and hearts, exploring the unique challenges and dynamics of being men in today's world. Gender dynamics, power, father-son relationships, competency, age, and health are among the topics that we've covered over the years, and that may well come up again this year. Join us and create the conversation that matters to you. For information, contact John Vogelsang at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Women in OD Affinity Group
What do women do when they get together? They usually change the world! Let's bring back the tradition in ODN of women gathering to reflect, connect, tell our stories and laugh. We share our hope, our strength, our knowledge and experience to make a difference in the world and our lives. This connection gives us energy and support. Join us for one hour to begin the conference off in the right way - creating and renewing our precious relationships with each other.
Spirit in the Workplace Affinity Group
What is sacred about your work? Join OD
practitioners from diverse (or no) spiritual paths to explore the workplace as
the locus of our self work or spiritual practice, the process of organizational
discernment, and OD as "Divine service."
LBGTQ Practitioners in OD Affinity Group
The LGBTQ Professionals in OD will meet to kick off the conference in a connected way! The workplace and the world of work are changing, and not just in North America. Come and share what you do and meet other LGBTQ conference attendees and allies. First time attendees and newcomers to the field particularly welcome!
Regional OD Leaders Network
Want to know about building a local or regional network? Need some help with energizing your own? Join this caucus of regional network leaders and members to exchange ideas for increasing the impact of OD in your area. New benefits and tools on the ODN website will be shared. The caucus will be largely conversational so that we can all learn from each other and build stronger personal relationships. Contact Marisa Sanchez, ODN Board, Regionals Committee chair.
Global Forum 2013
Monday October 7, 2013
Tuesday October 8, 2013
We invite you to join us for the 28th annual Global Forum - an opportunity to dialogue about global OD. As someone working worldwide - or interested in doing so - come share your stories, challenges and joys about global OD; come discuss the possibility of a 2nd OD World Summit in 2015; and come discover new colleagues and engage in continuing to build our OD global community.
Latino/a Affinity Group
Latino/a practitioners are invited to share information about themselves with a focus on stories about their work and being a Latino/a in the OD/HR profession. This conversation will help build a group interested in past, present and future Latino/a OD participation. It is an opportunity to network, share experience and provide support as needed. Come to share and renew your energy, excitement and enthusiasm for our diverse community.
ODN is seeking conveners for the Spirituality in OD, Women in OD, Jewish Community, and New Practitioners in OD affinity groups. If you would like to lead or co-lead this meeting, please reply here. Also, if you are planning to attend the conference and would like to suggest another group meeting, please reply here, too.
