Open Space with Harrison Owen
We’ve partnered with Harrison Owen, author of Expanding Our Now: The Story of Open Space Technology, to energize the final day of the 2014 Annual Conference with a special, all-day Open Space workshop. Owen will facilitate this unique approach to help attendees confront and resolve complex, conflicted issues in a dynamic way.
The Organization Development Network offers several opportunities for graduate student work to be presented at the 2014 Conference on October 25-28, 2014, in Philadelphia, PA. The Student Research Colloquium and the Student Paper Presentation programs are recurring programs at the OD Network Annual Conference.
Students must submit to only one sponsored opportunity (SPP or SRC).

This Year's Tracks
Change and Agility - With the world continuously changing around us, organizations and
other systems must be agile in order to stay relevant and thrive. In this area,
presentations will focus on Organization Development approaches and methods
that explore how to plan, deploy, and measure effective cultural transformation
efforts through the lens of change and agility.
Tools and Technology - The last decade has introduced an unprecedented new
wave of technology and tools that has changed the way we connect and work.
Presentations in this area focus on how to enhance culture transformation
efforts through new and emerging technology and tools.
Diversity and Culture - We live in a connected and
global world where understanding culture and diversity enables us to be
community builders and change agents. Presentations in this area
explore diversity and culture, addressing topics of conflict, growth, and
innovation and their impact on cultural transformation.
This Year's Formats
Design Charrettes - This collaborative session style divides each group into sub-groups to solve problems as a team. Each team then presents its results to the full group for further dialogue.
TED-inspired Talks - The inspiring nature of TED presentations lends well to OD Network, which is why we've taken that inspiration and developed hour-long "Talks" in which multiple presenters will speak for 18 minutes or less. These topical presentations are then followed up with a Q & A.
Presentation (90 Mins or 60 Mins) - This is a traditional session format that is an efficient way for a presenter to cover content through a captivating lecture presentation.
Oral Poster Presentation - Poster presentations are meant to be more casual than concurrent sessions presentations. Meeting attendees will be free to visit posters at their leisure throughout the reception.
