The OD Network Board of Directors and our membership recognize that you, in your current academic pursuits, are tomorrow’s face of the organization development profession. As the professional association for Organization Development, the OD Network is a great place to connect with others working in the field. Our annual conference offers not only the opportunity to connect but also the opportunity to showcase your work, findings, and theories by giving a presentation. In support of you and the academic programs focused on OD, we have dedicated time blocks specifically for students. Please consider submitting a proposal to participate in the 2016 OD Network Annual Conference.
Our annual conference is a great place for students to share their ideas, and to get feedback from experienced OD professionals from around the globe. The theme of the conference this year is “The Business of OD: Positioning Ourselves for Continuous Impact.”
The Program Committee is looking for dynamic and engaging topics and those who not only bring their skills to the conference, but also bring learnings to share with participants that are experiential, relatable, and transferable. This year’s conference has three tracks under the conference theme (see below) and your proposal should fit within at least one of the tracks. We encourage you, as we do all our presenters, to find innovative ways of sharing your experiences, knowledge, research, and cases in a way that is culturally sensitive and acknowledges the global nature of the conference and attendees. We recommend making your presentation as experiential and engaging as possible for the learner. Feedback from attendees consistently rates interactive sessions higher than those that are not, and the committee will be looking to select such sessions for the program.
Please refer to the link to the descriptions below to guide your content development, while considering that experiential, interactive formats will be favored above standard presentations. We look forward to reviewing your submission!
·At the time of submission students must be either:
- A current student in an OD related graduate or doctoral institution
- Within three months of having graduated from an OD related graduate or doctoral institution

- Students may partner with other students from their program or other ODEA programs
