Biography: Barbara B. Adams, Psy.D.
Dr. Adams is the Founder of GAR (Gender, Age, Race) Diversity Consulting, LLC. She is a former director in the National Diversity & Inclusion office at Kaiser Permanente (KP), the largest non-profit, integrated healthcare system in the United States, ranked #2 in the 2015 global DiversityInc Top 50 survey. Prior to joining KP in 2006, Dr. Adams worked for 10 years as a global management and technology consultant, specializing in organizational behavior. Dr. Adams is the author of the forthcoming book Women, Minorities and Other Extraordinary People: Solutions to the diversity crisis in technology and beyond.
