Our World. Our Field. Our Impact.
As we prepare for the start of the 2015 OD Network │ IODA Annual Conference, we recognize the tremendous leadership we have within our OD community and we look forward to bringing the WORLD together at this global event in Portland, Ore. from October 17-20.
This year, we have new engaging inspirational speakers and immense learning opportunities, the 2015 Annual Conference is designed to bring together industry leaders from around the world. The 2015 Conference tracks reflect the global connections OD professionals share and will inspire all of us to take our career to the next level:
DAY 1 – October 18
On the first day, after checking in and enjoying the multicultural vibe in the room, we will focus our attention on our roots and history as well as what is going on in our field currently. The question we would like to explore here is:
What are some of the most important, relevant, pressing challenges and dilemmas we are facing as a community of practice today?
DAY 2 – October 19
On the second day, we will explore the changes happening around us in the world and look at what state of the art projects we as OD practitioners do in the U.S. and around the globe. Be inspired by the discussion and answers to this day’s question of:
What does OD mean and provide currently to the World both locally and globally?
DAY 3 – October 20
On the third day, we will look at examples of impactful interventions, ideas, local and global initiatives in motion. Based on the insights and inspiration of the previous days, we will gather momentum and build commitment by working through the question of:
How can we make a difference in our organizations and in the World?
Among many outstanding speakers, we include Sandra Janoff, Ph.D.. Sandra will be for those interested in a radical approach to how people can make themselves into better leaders. This engaging event will include eight leadership skills to ensure you can succeed in the workplace. Dr. Janoff’s session, Lead More, Control Less: 8 Advanced Leadership Skills that Overturn Convention, will be held on Monday, October 19 from 1 – 2:30 p.m. This is an engaging session you will not want to miss.
