Understand Burnout: Build A Process Towards Engagement and Well-Being

The cure for burnout involves much more than meditation, good sleep, and exercise. What can be done to improve the engagement and well-being of health care providers, nurses, and administrators? Dr. Winters discusses successful strategies to decrease burnout and to promote well-being and engagement.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify approaches that you may use to coach the burned out health care professional.
  2. Identify the organizational, collegial, and individual levers to improve well-being and engagement.
  3. Understand the process of burnout, engagement, and well-being measurement.
  4. Develop a language and structure to consider how to best approach burnout, engagement, and well-being.
