Now What: Navigating the Current Reality and Moving Our Business Towards the Future

The COVID-19 outbreak has caused the fastest market crash in our lifetimes — successful businesses that were preparing for growth are now facing bankruptcy in a matter of weeks. Stories we hear from the OD community, from both external and internal consultants, mirror the reality of this rapid change. One truth emerging from this crisis is that our world will not look the same post-COVID. The residue of these changes today will shape the reality of our future for generations. Innovative thinking will be the pre-requisite for OD to thrive in tomorrow’s world. This session will explore two critical questions:

  1. What does this mean for the business of OD now?
  2. What can we be doing to prepare our practice for the future?

Learning Objectives

Participants will walk away with tools to help them continue to move their OD practice forward during the current reality and proven techniques to see future shifts in our markets. We will explore the data we are observing and use models to inform us on what changes we need to be preparing for in the future. The concepts shared in the session will apply to both internal and external consultants; both perspectives will find value in the information exchanged.
