14th Annual OD Student Paper Presentation (SPP) Information

Since 2001, the OD Network and IODA offers recently graduated and current graduate students an opportunity to submit a well-formulated paper written for publication and receive review and feedback by seasoned OD professionals. The SPP supports graduate students interested in publishing their work and the SPP process is intended to share valuable insights for each student paper prior to journal submission.  The submitted papers should serve as drafts of or completed articles for journal submission.

The OD Network invites current and recently graduated students to submit papers on any range of OD-related topics.  For example, submitted papers may focus on a particular case study or multiple case studies, review of theory and research, new synthesis of theories and research, reinterpretation of theories and emerging perspectives, as well as any application of OD.

Submitted SPP student papers are reviewed by an experienced review team of senior scholar-practitioners.  SPP submissions that meet the evaluation criteria are selected, reviewed, and given feedback.  Student authors are invited to present their selected paper at the Student Paper Presentation Colloquium as well as at the Poster Session during the 2015 OD Network conference in Portland.

Selected paper(s) may be submitted for editorial review with the OD Practitioner.  Papers may need editing and revision to be considered for actual journal publication.
