2020 Annual Conference Call for Proposals

You may save incomplete submissions for 30 days, provided you are signed in with your OD Network profile. Log in before beginning your submission. If you do not have a profile, you can join OD Network, or set up a non-member profile.

You can submit multiple proposals, but must complete one before beginning a second proposal.

It is important that you provide ALL of the required information requested on the online form. This information will be published on the OD Network website and printed program if the session is selected. Your email and phone number are for internal use only. Enter the following speaker information EXACTLY as you would like it to appear in any session materials, should your session be accepted. Information will be listed as "Name, Designation, Title, Organization, Country".

Use the links at the end of each page to navigate the form. The numbered links at the top allow you to visit previous pages. Note that you must use the "Next" button at the bottom of each page to move through the form, even if you do not have additional speaker information for pages 2 and 3. The system will not allow you to submit the form until all seven page links are flagged as "Valid" and highlighted in green. If any pages are flagged as "Missing or invalid required information," revisit those pages and make any required updates before submitting the form.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT use your browser's "back" button to go to a previous page of the form. Doing so may result in unsaved information being lost.

As you look at the practice of OD, we invite you to consider:

  1. What opportunities, trends, and challenges exist as we look to evolve with impact?
  2. What would you like to share with the community at ODN 2020, in the way of facilitating dialogue among diverse perspectives, starting conversations that matter, increasing skills, providing tools, and creating meaningful experiences for the future?
  3. How would your session be instrumental in creating new possibilities that would advance the science, practice, and impact of OD for the future?

The 2020 Annual Conference committee is looking for dynamic and engaging facilitators who bring their skills and experiences to the conference and bring learnings to share that are experiential, relatable, and transferable. Facilitators will host sessions on topics that deepen the understanding of OD principles and practices and engage participants with emerging perspectives in our field.

We encourage all presenters to find innovative ways of sharing their experiences, knowledge, research, and cases in a way that is culturally sensitive and acknowledges the global nature of the conference and attendees. The committee highly recommends making these presentations as experiential and engaging as possible for the learner. Attendees consistently rate interactive sessions higher than those that are not, and the committee will be looking to select such sessions for the program.

Please refer to the format descriptions to guide your content development, while considering that experiential, interactive formats will be favored above standard presentations. We look forward to reviewing your submission!

How to Submit

  • Proposals must be submitted through the appropriate online form.
  • Submission system opens on March 6, 2020.
  • Proposals must be received by midnight on April 6, 2020.
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent via email in beginning of June.

We use a double-blind review process, thus it is imperative that you maintain confidentiality and do not reveal to anyone, anywhere that you have submitted a proposal.
