Global OD Competency Framework

The Global OD Competency Framework™ (Global ODCF) defines the differentiating competencies needed for OD practitioners in our dynamic and complex business environment. The Framework represents the knowledge, skills and behaviors of a proficient OD practitioner.

The competencies are aligned to current challenges and anticipated needs and represent the collective wisdom of nearly 1000 global OD business leaders, consultants, academic professionals and experienced advisors.

Why a Global OD Competency Framework™?

Career Development. The Framework can help you define a clear set of knowledge, skills and behaviors to determine your current proficiency, and from this information you can create an individual development plan.

Professional Standards. The Framework provides a set of standards for the OD profession and can clarify expectations for impactful results.
